Join CFRU for By-Election coverage each Thursday afternoon from 4-6 p.m.

We will be bringing you News from the Campaign Trail, a review of the debates as well as Kyle "The Numbers Guy" with all the poll numbers and internet election trivia.

August 28th:
4-5 p.m. Gloria Kovach, Conservative Party Candidate, live in the studio.
5-6 p.m. Mike Nagy, Green Party Candidate, live in the studio.

The monthly meeting of the CFRU Board of Directors takes place at 6.30 p.m. Room 004, University Centre on September 29th 2008. All are welcome to attend.

RE: CFRU COLLECTIVE BARGAINING NEGOTIATIONS

The CFRU Board of Directors and CUPE 1281, which represents the employees of CFRU, have reached a tentative deal on a new contract after mediation. This agreement now requires ratification by both parties.

More information on the terms of the deal will be provided at a later date.

As of Thursday April 24th CFRU will be broadcasting from our newly constructed on-air control room located in room 202 of the University Center, just next to our old control room. For all programmers and guests you’ll just have to look a little further down the hall.

Unfortunately, due to a power outage last week, our main archive server bit the bullet and no longer functions. While we work to repair this issue/get a new server, our alternate server is still up and running.
