Ashlee Births a Fall Out Baby Boy
The pop star has finally popped.
Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and her rocker hubby Pete Wentz welcomed son Bronx Mowgli Wentz, their first child together, Thursday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
The baby boy weighed in at 7 pounds, 11 ounces and measured 20 1/2 inches.
"Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes," a rep for the couple told People.
The birth comes almost three weeks after the 29-year-old Fall Out Boy mastermind told Ryan Seacrest that his 24-year-old missus was "very pregnant…She's at the very end, and it could happen at any point."
During an Ellen DeGeneres Show taping on Monday, new aunt Jessica Simpson, said her sister was considering inducing labor. "I think she's really just jumping around trying everything right now" to get the baby out.

So what happened? And is there any chance these characters will live on?
Harry Potter's Not Opening, and They're Not Over It
The fan petitions are still growing. The movie is still not coming out.
Friday was supposed to be the day Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince opened. Instead, over the summer, Warner Bros. rescheduled the franchise's latest adventure for next July, a move that caused a fan upset that hasn't entirely settled.
"I think most fans are disappointed more than angry, and definitely skeptical of the real motive behind the delay," said Sara Greer, editor of the Harry Potter fan site MuggleNet.
New Lost Video: Sawyer & Juliet Are Holding Hands?!
Say whaaaa?
We leave Sawyer and Juliet alone on Lost Island for one minute (OK, three years, but who's counting?), and now they are holding hands? Crazytown!
New footage from Lost's season five just premiered as part of The Fray's new video for "You Found Me," and, well, watch the hijinks and subliminal messages for yourself...
Steve Martin and a Sex Doll on 30 Rock
The guest shots just keep coming on 30 Rock.
In the last few weeks, Oprah Winfrey played it cool and Jennifer Aniston played it crazy on the Tina Fey-Alec Baldwin sitcom, and this week Fey's Baby Mama costar Steve Martin showed up to add to the show's incredible talent pool.
As a creepy recluse, Martin steals the heart of Fey's Liz Lemon with his winning combination of agoraphobia, fondness for cupcakes and aversion to physical contact. But before it can all go wrong, Tracy Morgan uses a Japanese sex doll made in his own likeness to stop a suicide and bring a family together. Heartwarming stuff.
Eminem's Tough Outer Shell Hides Sweet Interior
Believe it or not, Eminem has finally become a portrait in good taste.
The rapper has been unwrapped and immortalized in candy M&M's by artist Enrique Ramos, who transformed 8 pounds of candy (roughly a thousand sweet treats) into a portrait of Marshall Mathers. The Ripley's Believe It or Not! folks acquired the piece for one of their museums (or possibly one of their afternoon snacks).
What do you think? With this many calories, is it still fair to call him Slim Shady? Sound off with your art critiques in the comments. Just don't sugarcoat it, OK?
Twilight's Night "Is Going to Be Huge"
Twilight's going to keep a lot of people up all night.
Across the country, more than 1,100 midnight Friday screenings were reported sold out. In Los Angeles, pairs of tickets were hawked for upwards of $50 on Craigslist. On Facebook, members were planning their opening-night wardrobe.
Suffice to say, Team Edward T-shirts—and the fans wearing them—will be out in force.
"I think the opening day is going to be huge," says Bruce Nash of the box-office data site, the Numbers.
But how huge? That's a trickier answer.
Seven Survivors Remain on Gabon
The jury had two members, and only eight castaways remained heading into tonight's episode of Survivor: Gabon, which, despite a kinda pathetic start has really been heating up over the last couple of weeks.
With the alliances seemingly cemented, the artistry of playing the game became more important than ever. Find out who rose to the occasion, and who tossed his cookies a hair too soon.
John Mayer Meets Jennifer Aniston's Dad?
Sounds like things are getting serious between Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer.
According to Star magazine, Jen introduced Mayer to her dad, John Aniston, last night during dinner at the Polo Lounge.
And their snitch must have been sitting at the table next to them, because they've got quotes and some serious details from the evening, including a back rub and even Jen feeding her man a bite of veggies.
Mayer was reportedly "very nervous" about the encounter. So how'd he do with Jen's dad?

Barbara Snaps Back at Rosie's Rant, Rosie Listens
Leave it to Rosie O'Donnell to get Barbara Walters' panties all up in a bunch—and for O'Donnell to respond with a video blog!
In the latest war of words between these two, Walters remarked on The View Thursday: "There are some people who have done this show and then for years feel they have to dump on it, maybe for publicity, and that not only hurts me, but I resent it."
Barbara tartly continued, with an assumed dig at the always outspoken Star Jones as well, "So if the shoe fits, lady—ladies—get on with your lives."
And then on her own blog, O'Donnell posted a video item titled "Lady," which shows the former talk show host making faces in response to Walters' remarks.

Julianne Hough Hangs Up Her Dancing Shoes
Julianne Hough may have donned her last sequin.
The two-time Dancing With the Stars champ has apparently given up any hope for a threepeat, telling E! News' Ryan Seacrest this morning that she will not be returning to the reality hit this spring.
"I'm not going to be back next season," she said on Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show. "That's final. I'm definitely not going back next season."
