Richard Wagner: Tristan und Isolde, starring soprano Katarina Dalayman and tenor Peter Seiffert in the title roles of a proud Irish princess and a brave knight; also featuring mezzo-soprano Michelle DeYoung as Isolde's attendant, who wields a magic potion to make Tristan and Isolde fall in love. Daniel Barenboim conducts. The performance ends around 4:15pm.

Often referred to as the "Mark Twain of our times," this beloved American figure and cultural icon is the voice of enlightenment, reason and gentle humor. He can be heard weekly on public radio as a writer and host of his show, "A Prairie Home Companion," which was also featured in the recent film of the same name. He has 12 books; the latest of which, "Pontoon," was released in 2007. More Info
