Special Election Day MLR Show!

Tonight will be a special airing of Metal Lessons Radio! They're doing a Election Special! So be sure to Tune in tonight at 6pm station time (7pm Eastern) for a special election day treat!

For those who will be glued to the TV election coverage - turn down the TV Volume, Read the ticker, and listen to MLR!

Here's a bit about tonight's special show:

Election day is finally here! We have been planning an Election special since we started. We finally finished it and sent it off to the HR80s administration. Last week we did our Halloween show, which means our regular time slots fall one and two days after the Election. Upon reviewing the show, admin thought it might be appropriate to run the show this evening, an election show on election day! So, the decision was made to run the MLR Election Special this evening at 6pm station time (CST)! This show is NOT a political show, but rather quite patriotic! Spoken segments are short, and we've taken taken the last year to craft what we feel is a really great playlist. Expect to hear Alice Cooper, Iced Earth, Rainbow, Tesla, Metallica, Aerosmith, Megadeth... Chat will be active, and we'll see what happens to our country in the company of friends!

Server & Chat Update

All,

Just wanted to drop a ntoe on what's going on with the server and the chat. First off, we're using a hosted chat until we get the server ironed out.

You can access the chat by going to the Forums & Games Menu, then clicking on chat. We password protected it to keep undesireable people out (ie not HR80s listeners). The password is hr80s1. Once in you can registerwhich allows a dedicated username, user images, etc...

Now...the Site...It's been very erratic. I've opened numerous support tickets. We are going to be moving to a new node soon. In the meantime, we'll try to keep the site up as much as possible. The good news is the radio has been rocking along very well. The site will get there. I want to sincerely apologize for the recent issues, and want you to know we're working on fixing them.
