The CD Zone will provide a mix of uses that will ensure a vibrant retail hub.

• Buildings are placed to incorporate high quality public space with view corridors and attention to shadowing
• Park promenades link the town with its lake edge "heartfront"
• The Sails are reclaimed as the sweet spot for year round activity

This area has a need for vision; a need for certainty. The current zoning does not allow for a high quality, liveable, workable place that should exist in the heart of our community. 

Imagine Kelowna was created because it is imperative that positive voices be heard regarding this important downtown redevelopment initiative.
