Doreen Holland on Thompson's Corner
On Wednesday December 10th, Sharon Thompson will have Doreen Holland as a guest on Thompson's Corner. As you may recall, Doreen presented Album Review on 99.3 for 16 years, before taking a well earned retirement just a month or two ago.
Doreen will join Sharon after 2.00pm to play a few of her favourite tracks and maybe to draw attention to some lesser known lights in the jazz community. Join Sharon and Doreen on Wednesday afternoon for a defined and discerning look at the contemporary jazz scene.

Ron's Golden Oldies Christmas
This week, Ron's Golden Oldies program will feature some of those Rock n Roll Christmas songs from the 50's & 60's.
As usual, the program features those great rockabilly songs and artists from the early days of Rock n Roll, along with a CD giveaway, trivia, requests and artist profiles. Ron Golden Oldies, Thursday's from 2 - 4pm. -

Christmas Comes To Jazz At Six
Christmas comes but once a year, and when it comes it brings good cheer... and that certainly goes for Jazz At Six with Graham Lyndon, Wednesday nights throughout December. Starting on Wednesday the 3rd, Graham will intoduce to you the festive fare with high profile singers and instrumentalists.
Bringing you the most popular Christmas tunes and carols in their distinctive styles, Graham will play Barbara Streisand, Dave Grusin, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Diana Krall and Tony Bennett, to name juts a few.
Catch Christmas with a jazz beat through December when Graham Lyndon presents Jazz At Six, Wednesday nights from 6pm.

Andrea Neild on the Sunday Arvo Program
This Sunday, the Sunday Arvo Program with Richard Bell will feature studio guest Andrea Neild. Andrea is president of Emergency Architects Australia, a non-profit organisation assisting emergency relief with reconstruction programs in developing countries in the Asia Pacific Region.
It's a fascinating story of community minded creativity in difficult circumstances, so tune in as Andrea explains their work and how you can get involved.

The 12th Japanese Film Festival
The 12th Japanese Film Festival starts tonight at the George Street Greater Union, with 18 stellar films in just 8 days.
Featuring films from Kenji Uchida, Yukihiko Tsutsumi and Shingo Matsubara plus other masters of Japanese Film, the Japanese Film Festival is not to be missed. Also on show are oddball films including Executive Koala and the free Australia-Japan Student Film Forum on the 8th of December.
